Award-Winning Harbor Oaks Historic Home Remodel

This three-story, 8000-square-foot historic home received a full gut and remodel by Nelson Construction and Renovations.

After demolishing the house back to the studs, we replaced all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing; replaced framing where needed; framed new walls to reconfigure the floor plan; completed drywall to a Level 5 finish; replaced windows and doors; built a new front porch, brick walkway, and brick driveway; and built an 800 square-foot deck overlooking the pool, with custom wrought-iron handrails with solid brass features.

The home-style includes Italian and British influences, seen in the white marble floors, custom white cabinets, brass fixtures, various elegant light fixtures, tile selections, wallpaper, and brass mirrors.

The crowning glory of the kitchen is the oven and range hood, which were shipped from Italy and custom-made by Officine Gullo. This project won 1st place in the CotY Awards.
